Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - Planet Shader

This project was a heavy collaboration with material artist Albert Soto! It was a huge joy getting to work with him on this particular project--please send him kind comments as well! Anna's lighting really capped off and perfected these planet cinematics.

I created the planet shader with built in lighting and cloud pass all in one. The lighting was adjustable by artists in the shader, including mid and deep shadow tints. Artists had control over the number of cloud slices and spacing to tweak the look of it per planet.
